Advanced forecast management system
For an efficient management of resources we need to be able to manufacture
what our client needs in the exact quantity and moment required, but not earlier or later.
On the other hand, provisioning some materials may require longer times as they also require raw material processing.
This means that we need to start manufacturing products before our clients request them with the risk of increasing our stocks of raw materials, in-process and finish products. This poses a significant financial risk.
In order to schedule our and our suppliers’ manufacturing plans in the best possible way, AGUI has created its own forecast management tool. This tool is based on the analysis of historical records, market trends, the capacity of our clients’ and our suppliers’ plants, and on-going reviews of actual consumption vs. forecasts.
